The power of a community and Twitter

23 July 2008 by Niels Hartvig
14:19: An umbraco solution provider calls asking for Health/Public sector website references
14:20: Me saying "Uhm, no clue, but I can try asking the community"
14:50: Me twittering, "anyone got some Health sector sites"
15:40: Me sending links to six different Public Health Sector websites from the UK and Australia.

I love my job.

    Fantastic response in great time!
Just love the wisdom of the crowds, and Crowdsourcing as a tool.

Can I ask who are the UK ones?

I'd be interested to know the UK websites.

I'm looking at using Umbraco for our NHS Trusts' site and some examples would be great.

Hi, i'm sorry i missed this post.

We are an american company that creates websites/portals on the healthcare arena. we currently provide a diet/nutrition portal that is licensed to portals like yahoo, terra, univision, the state of florida, etc.

We use a CMS called Ektron400, but we would like to change, we haven't used umbraco due to the lack of documentation, but i'm sure that'll change in the future
